Our problems
became our product.
Pedal1 is a business-management platform built the hard way — by living every problem it solves long before we ever sold the answer.
Our problems became your solution.
Every feature in Pedal1 started as a real pain our own team faced. We solved it for ourselves, then built it for you.
The headcount at which managing people by memory finally broke — and Pedal1 was born.
Twenty-eight people, and the chaos we couldn't outsource.
In 2022 we were a digital advertising team — Pedal Group — doing work we were proud of and growing fast. Then we crossed twenty-eight people, and a quieter problem surfaced behind the campaigns.
Who had taken how many leaves. Who was clocking in late. Whose performance was quietly carrying the team, and whose wasn't. The spreadsheets stopped being enough. The work we were proud of was being undercut by the work nobody could see.
A founder who had already seen software done at scale.
Bigyan Gupta had spent years inside Zoho Corporation in Chennai, watching disciplined software turn operational mess into something measurable. So when Pedal Group hit its own wall, he didn't reach for another off-the-shelf tool.
He asked a larger question: if we have to build this for ourselves anyway, why not build it well enough to solve the same problem for every other business destined to hit this wall? That decision turned an internal fix into a product — and an advertising company into a software company.
We never set out to build software. We set out to fix what was broken in our own company — and realised every growing business breaks in the same places.
We don't theorise solutions.
We live them first.
Every module in Pedal1 began as our own unsolved problem. We built the fix, ran our company on it, broke it, refined it — and only then offered it to the world.
Build from experience
If we haven't felt the problem, we don't claim to have solved it.
Automate the invisible work
The remembering, the chasing, the reconciling — handled, so people aren't.
Finish the solution
We build to completion, not eighty percent. The last mile is the point.
Five problems, solved from the inside.
In the order they came for us — each one ours before it was yours.
People, managed by memory.
Leaves, attendance, late arrivals, early exits, performance — all invisible in spreadsheets. We built HR management to make it visible and fair. It became the backbone of the platform.
Leads that arrived, then vanished.
Our leads came from social media, scattered across inboxes. When a team member left, the context left with them. We built a CRM that pulls every lead into one place and automates first touchpoints — so the customer never feels the handover.
Work we couldn't see end to end.
Tasks, owners, deadlines, and analytics on every contributor — built for our advertising team first, then grown into a full solution for businesses across every industry.
Numbers that lagged behind the business.
Entries flow into the ledger automatically, the ledger reflects into profit-and-loss and the balance sheet, and reports tell you how the company is performing — without waiting for month-end.
Hiring on instinct alone.
This one came from our clients. Candidates take a psychometric and analytical assessment before they reach an interview. Our AI weighs the results into a single score and tells the HR lead who is worth the room — the first place Pedal1's intelligence does the judging, not just the record-keeping.
AI-assisted shortlistingFrom software that records to software that reasons.
The AI scoring inside our ATS was a beginning, not a destination. We are actively building AI agents and agentic models — systems that don't just store your work, but help carry it.
The goal is the same one we held in 2022: take the invisible, repetitive weight off a growing team, and free people to do the work only people can do.
Still in the same course.
We haven't changed our method, only our scale. From Kathmandu, Pedal1 now reaches teams across the world.
